I am a Lincolnshire born, Surrey based artist specialising in line drawings and acrylic paintings. From a young age I have developed my drawing ability into using ink or pen on paper. For my black and white drawings I do not use a pencil or other means of guidance.
The unusual objects I draw from observation I try to bring to life in order to show aesthetic realities that question the essence of life and our belief systems. With focus and awareness each line demonstrates extensive judgment, integrity and the form, structure and intricacies of the object in relation to its actual size. Currently I am challenging perceptions to broaden peoples understanding, sensitivity, and discrimination of what is recognised in our societies culture as acceptable, normal or conventional.
Alongside my drawing I produce acrylic paintings including portraits of television presenter Angellica Bell and The Queen in the fish ‘n’ chip shop. My paintings are clear, capturing a sense of realism and exceptional likeness to the subject.
