I am a storyteller.
I am fascinated by the ability to a create world and communicate a story in space; be that space the squared centimeters of a canvas, the inches of a TV screen, the frame of a photograph or the black space of a stage.
In 2010 I was awarded with the Harold Tillman Scholarship to study MA in Costume Design for Performance at the London College of Fashion. This amazing opportunity allowed me to explore the relationship between the body, costume and space through the development of performances that communicate a narrative through the transformation of a costume.
My work allows me to collaborate with performers and choreographers but also allows me to use my own body to explore identity & sociopolitical issues.
